A short stroll into Castellina Marittima led us to charming local shops, enriching our experience. Our cozy room was well-equipped with a fridge-a little touch that allowed us to chill local wine for our evening relaxation. The breakfast spread, available until noon, was a delight. I indulged in assorted fresh fruits, locally sourced bread, and yogurts, truly reflecting the flavors of the region. Dining in the hotel's restaurant was another treat; the ambiance was warm and inviting, a perfect setting for savoring generous portions of their thoughtfully prepared meals. I particularly appreciated the attentive waitstaff, who made the experience even more enjoyable. For anyone looking for genuine culinary innovation amidst stunning landscapes, Il Poggetto deserves a visit. I hope to return soon for another gastronomic getaway!
